The Miss Worcester County Organization is proud to be part of the Miss America Organization, the nations leading achievement program and scholarship provider for young women.
Miss Worcester County Organization Mission Statement
The Miss Worcester County Scholarship Organization is a local preliminary to the Miss Massachusetts and Miss America Organizations. We are a registered non-profit who works hard year-round to provide scholarship and personal development opportunities for young women.

As a local subsidiary of the Miss America Organization, our goals mirror that of our national organization which are to:

- Provide scholarships to young women
- Encourage community service
- Encourage advocacy work
- Provide professional development opportunities
- Create opportunities for mentor/mentee relationships
​
Additionally, we plan to grow each year by making new connections with local schools, businesses and organizations, by being more visible at public events and by recruiting more candidates, volunteers, sponsors and supporters.

The young women chosen to represent our organization each year are provided educational scholarships, professional photoshoots, professional mock interviews and public speaking coaching, public appearance opportunities.

Titleholder Job Description
Titleholders are expected to make an effort to further their own social impact initiative and the mission of the Miss Worcester County Organization. Some expectations are as follows:

- Be able to compete at the 2023 Miss Massachusetts Competition
- Work as the "face" of the Miss Worcester County Scholarship Organization to secure new sponsorships and community partnerships
- Be able to coordinate her own appearances related to her Social Impact Initiative and personal passions
- Meet and speak with diverse constituencies (students, government leaders, corporate sponsors, media, non-profit leaders)
